Mobile

Development and concept designs for VR mobile video application. We had a number of concepts and layouts to explore navigation, selection, and user experience for three platforms: mobile, web, and VR. The videos are 2d versions of 360 videos. The user could drag the video on screen to watch any degree of the 360 video. These are just a few of many examples.

Safari Challenge reached 500K+ monthly active users in a short time as a Facebook-only social browser game. The project had two-game systems running both a 2d browser and a 3d Unity flash plug-in with dedicated servers over the web. Game was for social good and helped feed children. Players funded 14 water wells built in Africa.

The game had over 800 missions for managing a safari. This game had a lot of UI and design elements including gameplay mechanics for 2d and 3d safari parks that I managed, produced, and created assets. Here is one of my favorite screens showing a backpack containing your inventory. (Shared UI assets and produced with team)

Mobile and tablet screen layouts. Players could enter 3d adventure parks and take pictures and collect animals for habitats.

There are 100s of icons and sprite animations created during this three-year project with an internal team of 10 not including managed contractors. This included full server client work with engineering. The bright colors and art style are clean and simple for casual gamers. We created over 50+ animals generated with 2d and 3d animations to collect, feed, capture, and place into habitats. I have a traditional background in illustration and painting, here are a few of my illustrated UIs. I managed all internal and external budgets and schedules including game design and art assets and engineering.
